Effective communication is vital in today’s business environment. And with media’s unparalleled capacity to influence opinions, building strong public speaking skills has become a key management priority.
In the Optimum Media Training Centre, we have created a unique space that reflects real-life interview and presentation settings, where organizational spokespeople can be trained to maximize the value of every communications opportunity.
Your Media Training Experience
The cameras are rolling. The microphones are live. And you’re in the hot seat.
At Optimum, we believe effective media training must mirror the real-world interview experience as closely as possible. That’s why in addition to gaining an understanding of how the media works, what they need from spokespeople and techniques you can use to get your organization’s messages across, every training session we conduct includes multiple rounds of mock-interviews.
You will learn and practice the skills needed to draw attention to your most important points, answer those tough questions and put your best foot forward in any situation. You will see and hear yourself taking part in TV, print and radio interviews. So when the media calls, you will be prepared.
Optimum offers training for between one and five participants per session.
Your Presentation Training Experience
For many, public speaking is a daunting experience. But it doesn’t have to be.
Optimum will help you sharpen the skills necessary to be a relaxed, confident and effective public speaker. Our speaker programs have been developed to enhance message and delivery skills in virtually any communication situation, including:
- stakeholder presentations, speeches and road shows;
- media interviews, and
- public responses to ongoing issues or crises.
We will work with you to build a customized training session that will help you connect with your audience, deliver a dynamic and engaging presentation, convey your key messages and facilitate an interactive Q&A. To mirror the real-world experience, every session includes several recorded practice presentations, so you can see first-had the results of applying what you have learned. After an Optimum program, you can be sure that you’ll be presentation-ready.

Mediaco installed and continually updates the cutting-edge equipment that enhances our training environment and facilitates the most realistic training experience available anywhere.
